Knitted surface = pixelated finish
Sock designs are built stitch-by-stitch, so the surface appears more like pixels than smooth fabric. Very thin lines, small text, and high-detail illustrations often blur or become unrecognisable.

Bold, simple graphics work best
Clean blocks of colour, geometric shapes, and simple logos translate well to knit.
Gradients or soft fades don’t reproduce well in knitting - use hard colour changes instead.

Colour may look different on yarn
Our yarns absorb colour differently than fabrics like jerseys - expect slight shifts, especially with neon or specific pantones.

Limit your colour palette
Stick to a small number of yarn colours (usually 4–6 max) for best results and cleaner execution.

Logos may need adaptation
We’ll advise if your logo needs tweaks to work well on a sock - you’ll always see a mock-up before production.
